Un Director de Seguridad externo (CSO Virtual) asume las funciones de dirección, organización, supervisión y coordinación de la seguridad de su empresa, tal y como reconoce el artículo 36 de la Ley 5/2014, de Seguridad Privada.

Esto incluye el análisis y evaluación de riesgos, el diseño del plan de seguridad, la supervisión de medidas físicas y tecnológicas, la relación con las empresas de seguridad contratadas y la coordinación con las Fuerzas y Cuerpos de Seguridad del Estado cuando la situación lo requiere.

No se trata de ciberseguridad pura ni de un perfil de CISO tecnológico. Hablamos de seguridad integral: física, organizativa, operativa y de cumplimiento normativo.

¿CSO o CISO? Son figuras distintas. El Director de Seguridad (CSO) está reconocido jurídicamente en España por la Ley 5/2014; el CISO es una figura orientada al gobierno de la seguridad de la información. En IMTS podemos articular ambas funciones, pero el eje de nuestro servicio es la seguridad integral y operacional.

Accreditation and Authorization

License recognized by the Ministry of the Interior.

IMTS’s Chief Security Officer (CSO) service is provided in accordance with the professional certification requirements established by Spanish regulations. The role of Chief Security Officer is governed by Law 5/2014, dated April 4, and its implementing regulations. To perform these duties, a Professional Identification Card (TIP) issued by the Ministry of the Interior is required, as well as compliance with the established training and certification requirements.
